For example, every two sheep become one pig, while four cattle can be traded in for a horse. The active player can play one farm card from the hand, spicing up the animal conversion race. You can either benefit from a bet- ter exchange rate, by gathering more re-
sources, or you can invest in a permanent privilege, such as being able to exchange all animal species in one go.
Mein Königreich für ein Pferd cer- tainly looks appealing, with the classy wooden horse meeples being a real at- traction. It plays in a brisk half an hour, without any lengthy wait times. When choosing your dice, you keep an eye on your opponents‘ pastures to minimize giv-
ing them too big of an advantage. Luck dominates the game through the cards and dice, but that‘s quite appropriate giv- en the genre.
